Purification Time: Is the Earth in Labour?

Mk’s bk pg 74-75 – Is the Earth in Labour? Evidence of Earth’s rotation slowing down.

Is the Earth in Labour? Evidence of Earth’s rotation slowing down.

In the post Purification Time – Earth Changes I give evidence of the following changes:

  • a sharp increase in number and intensity of earthquakes;
  • unexplained energy output from the Core;
  • a slowing down of the Earth’s rotation; and
  • a weakening of the Earth’s magnetic field.

I’m writing about it again because our Earth’s great geological unrest is growin! The video below shows global seismic activity for 30 days between March and April 2014. And note there were nineteen 6.0M+ earthquakes, seven 7.0M+ earthquakes and two 8.0M+ events!! This is an incredible amount of earthquakes! Please have a look at the video below for more detail.

Mk's bk pg 30-31: Weddell Sea - Earth's Yoni

The Weddell Sea – Earth’s Yoni

In the post The Weddell Sea in Antarctica: The Earth’s Yoni, I offered a lot of evidence that the deep waters of the Weddell Sea are heating up. I explain that the Weddell Sea is where the Earth’s Core will emerge. The rising heat of these water are the cause of global climactic instability.

Since writing that post last year the West Antarctic ice sheet has become even more unstable. On 12 May 2014  a news story broke from NASA – The “Unstable” West Antarctic Ice Sheet:

“The new finding that the eventual loss of a major section of West Antarctica’s ice sheet “appears unstoppable” was not completely unexpected by scientists who study this area. The study, led by glaciologist Eric Rignot at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California, and the University of California, Irvine, follows decades of research and theory suggesting the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is inherently vulnerable to change.”

The video below by NASA explains the recent finding of unstable conditions in Antarctica:

This news story  Antarctic Ice threatened by undersea volcano (see pic below) from the Times 11 May 2014 is striking! It recognises great heat – volcanic heat, meaning heat being generated from the Core  – is rising from under the Antarctic ice sheet.

“Antarctica’s ice sheets may face a far more imminent threat than climate change: scientists have found a new volcano forming a mile under the ice, which is threatening a full eruption. The volcano seems to be part of a much bigger volcanic system that is generating earthquakes and releasing heat into the ice above.

The scientists believe the activity is caused by a volcanic hotspot – a giant blob of superheated rock rising from deep within the Earth. It could mean the area is a rift zone, where the Earth’s tectonic plates are pulling apart…

There are six giant glaciers in West Antarctica, with evidence suggesting they are all flowing much faster than in the past, releasing 77% more water a year than in 1973. The causes are not understood but scientists say climate change is a likely factor.”

Quoting from Earth Mother Our Womb of Life (and the clue is in the title):

Our Earth Mother is now in labor. The increasingly severe weather and geological disturbances are more than what most scientists believe; they are birth pangs originating from deep within the heart of the Earth. The Earth is laboring to birth what some native peoples have referred to as Her Egg (Her Core), which will emerge from the Earth’s birth canal in an Antarctic sea.

A Core Becomes a Moon

Mike's book pg 92-93

Mk’s bk pg 92-93 – The Hidden Core – Moon & Earth Changes

Quoting from the book:

What will take place when the weight of the Core exceeds the weight of the Earth? A holy event: the Day of Purification, in which everything in Nature will evolve to higher life in unison as the Cores emerge. A point is finally reached where the weight of the growing Core can no longer be held within the Earth. It is then ejected through the Earth’s birth canal, emerging from an Antarctic sea. Immediately thereafter, the lightened Earth flies to a new orbit nearer the sun, the ejected Core becoming a moon.

The craters of our moon are not all impact craters as scientists believe. If they were they would show evidence of skid marks made by meteoric movement following impact. Where are the remains of the meteors expected from the massive number of craters found on the lunar surface? They are missing. The impact theory of lunar craters must somehow explain the disappearance of meteoric material after impact.

With few exceptions, lunar craters have uniform cross angles. For this to be caused by meteoric impact, every meteorite would have had to rain down on the moon from every conceivable angle, striking the moon at right angles to the surface, while bypassing Earth who remains unscathed by this torrential rain. The impact theory clearly is lacking.

The true cause of most lunar craters are gaseous emissions: when the boiling, blistering Core is ejected, then experiencing the below freezing conditions of space, the blisters (or gas bubbles) burst, and settle into craters. The lunar surface exhibits lava seas (mares) and gaseous craters in keeping with what would be expected of the surface of an ejected Core. New scientific theories may arise, but they will continue to change until moons are recognized as ejected Cores (by those who do not already know the truth).

As shown in the quote above, Earth Mother Our Womb of Life criticizes the theory that lunar craters were formed by meteor strikes, because of the lack of meteoric remains and the symmetrical formation of the craters. The argument has been made projektil-und-kraterbefore, in the 1900’s scientists believed that the moon was volcanic because of the symmetry of the craters. However recent experiments have shown that shock waves from high speed impacts at different angles can create symmetrical craters.

Making impacts: experimental hypervelocity crater generation provides photographic (see left) and video evidence of a symmetrical crater being formed from a 5 mm-diameter plastic sphere shot at a 30° angle in to a mound of flour. It is an interesting result though a meteor hurtling towards the ground may give a different result than a plastic BB shot into flour.

mud-crater1

Lunar landscape

The photo above was taken from the same website as above. It shows how a rock thrown into mud forms a small crater. But it was not the crater formed by the little rock that I found interesting – it was the large pockmarked area in the rest of the photo, because it is strikingly similar to the pockmarked landscape of our moon (see right).

air bubbles in wet cement

Air bubbles in wet cement

The cause of the pockmarked surface in the photo above, isn’t explained on the website. It looks like air bubbles that have risen to the surface and then burst – like the surface of a sandy beach when a wave recedes and little air pockets pop through the surface, or like the bubbles that bicarbonate of soda make in a cake mix, or like air bubbles popping through in wet cement.

The remarkable thing about the lunar landscape is the sheer abundance of craters. I tried to find out how many there are and the responses vary greatly. WikiAnswers states:

The number of craters on the moon are too many to count. Approximately 300,000 craters with diameters of 1 km or more are visible from ground based telescopes. High-definition photographs from lunar probes reveal millions of craters. Extreme closeups show countless microscopic craters.

The video below from NASA attempts to highlight all craters with a diametre of 20km or more:

My interest is not how an individual crater forms but the thousands or millions that litter the Moon. Current lunar theory says our moon was bombarded by meteors. But a letter written to the editor of New Scientist magazine back in March 1965, entitled Moon Theory, brings up a couple of important points which to this day have not been reconciled with meteoric impact theory. I’ve reproduced the letter below so that you can read it in full (by clicking on the pic to enlarge it).

letter to ed New Scientist 25 March 1965Leslie R. Parkes, the author of the letter, points out that there are craters are on all sides of the Moon, yet the Moon only “presents one face to the Earth“. For the craters to be formed by meteoric impacts the Moon would either have behaved differently in its past (i.e. rotated on its axis); or else “the meteoric matter must have come from behind this planet [Earth]. Considering the relative masses of the two bodies preferential deposition on the Moon seems most unlikely.” (See illustration below)

P1140013

He suggests “that the lunar surface was indicative of a formerly plastic body that had been rapidly degassed under supercooling conditions and that the craters were the meniscus rings left by bubbles breaking the surface.”  He offers a simple yet ingenious way to test his suggestion. He says “Not all the bubbles formed will necessarily have ruptured. These will be evident as doomed regions…” Is there evidence of doomed regions on the Moon?

Distribution of nearside domes in the GLR 2005 Catalog (green = “verified”; yellow = “unverified”).

The Moon is littered with domes and dome-related extrusions, plateaus and uplifts. The map above identifies some of the domes on the near side of the Moon. There are many websites devoted to lunar domes but I think Wikispaces offers a comprehensive and easy to view listing of domes and dome related phenomena (including the map above).

The video below called: Glass Dome Over Crater on Moon, UFO Sighting News purports to show a glass dome on the Moon! As the title suggests the dome could be an alien structure or as the Corning Museum of Glass explains: “Glass is created when a molten material cools so rapidly that there is not enough time for a crystalline structure to form. In Nature glasses are formed when sand and/or rocks, often high in silica are heated to high temperatures then cooled rapidly.”  It was thought that silica did not exist on the Moon but an article from Sept 2010 on Space.com states that scientists have recently:

“… made a detailed study of minerals on the moon and identified areas of unusual silica-rich composition… researchers, led by Timothy D. Glotch of New York’s Stony Brook University, honed in on some of these spots and found that the silica on the moon is likely quartz, silicon-rich glass or alkali feldspar.”The silica-rich materials have actually been proposed to be on the surface in these locations, but we have never sent an instrument that could detect them before,” Greenhagen told SPACE.com.”

Perhaps the glass dome is an unexploded gas bubbled from when when the boiling, blistering Core was ejected, then experiencing the below freezing conditions of space…” [as written in the book extract at the beginning of this post].

Lunar domes and other unusual lunar phenomena are explained as volcanic in origin. In fact, NASA analysis of the Apollo rock samples reveals that the Moon consists predominantly of volcanic materials. I’ve posted the images below (taken from the Lunar and Planetary Institute) to show you the similarities between lunar rock and volcanic rock – lunar landscape and volcanic landscape. Yet with all of the volcanic material covering the Moon we still explain the craters as being formed by meteoric impact. Why?

In his letter Leslie R. Parkes asks: “But surely, one has to conceive of a mechanism by which rapid degassing and supercooling could occur, as it were, instantaneously, to account for the lunar features?” Perhaps the reason is as simple as that – science has not yet figured out that “the lunar surface exhibits lava seas (mares) and gaseous craters in keeping with what would be expected of the surface of an ejected Core.” And so the lunar craters are explained by the mechanism they know – meteoric impact.

In the words of planetary scientist Bradley L. Jolliff of Washington University in St. Louis, MO. describing the significance of the lunar domes:

“There are some who would say that the moon is uninteresting; that it’s geologically dead; and that we have been there and done that. And what this finding reminds us is that the moon is geologically complex, and it has surprises left for us to discover. We’ve only really explored, with landers and sample return if you think about Apollo and Luna missions, a small area on the moon’s Earth-facing side. There’s a whole lot yet to learn from our closest neighbor in space.”

I know this post is very long but there is one last piece of evidence I would like to include – and it’s not about craters! An article (see below) published in the Daily Galaxy Aug 2012 states the The Moon Once Harboured a Dynamic Molten Core. Researchers at MIT studied lunar rocks and were surprised to find that they were magnetised.

The moon once harbored a dynamic molten core

As the articles states:

MIT’s research on an ancient lunar rock suggests that the moon once harboured a long-lived dynamo – molten, convecting core of liquid metal that generated a strong magnetic field…

“The moon has this protracted history that’s surprising,” says c0-author Benjamin Weiss, an associate professor of planetary science at MIT. “This provides evidence of a fundamentally new way of making a magnetic field in a planet a new power source.”

Exactly! The moon was once the power source of a planet – a convecting metallic Core spinning in the opposite direction to the mantle  – a dynamo creating great heat, electricity and magnetism. Weiss is right, the moon has a history that is surprising – surprising because we don’t yet know its true story. As the book says:

New scientific theories may arise, but they will continue to change until moons are recognized as ejected Cores (by those who do not already know the truth).

Purification Time / Earth Changes

Quoting from Earth Mother Our Womb of Life:

The ancient cycle of Earth changes, and evolutionary progress, has been known by different names throughout history: The Day of Resurrection, Pachacuti, The Day of Purification or Purification Time, The Period of Great Tribulation, The Earth’s Birth Pains, Judgment Day, and The Last Days, among others. For purposes of this book, I will refer to this cycle as Purification Time, or Purification, because of the simplicity and clarity of these terms.

Mk’s bk pg 90 – Hopi story of the Earth hatching of Her iron egg.

The story of the Earth hatching of Her iron egg.

The book describes a time of great change on Earth, which the Hopi call Purification Time. In the photo above are the words from a native American elder who describes what happens during Purification Time. It’s interesting to note that the explanation contains a description of a scientific process called differentiation:

As our Earth Mother rotates around her axis, and as She revolves around Father sun, She also flies with the rest of the solar system through space. All this running around causes movement within Her. This movement is called “differentiation”: heavy material sinks and light material rises. The same thing happens when a man pans for gold: the gold sinks; also when a woman shakes corn, the husks rise. In the body of our Earth Mother heavy material sinks and light material rises. Metals sink downwards and they have formed an iron egg in Her center. This iron egg grows with every passing minute, as differentiation continues. Because She does not stop hurrying around, we call Her “hurrying around woman,” among the many other names She has. As long as Her motion continues, metal sinks towards Her center and Her egg grows.

Image from the Smithsonian

(Euroamerican) scientists know that with every passing day the speed of the Earth Mother’s motion is slowed down. This is because of the heavy material sinking down into Her center. When Her egg is too heavy for Her to keep in Her womb, it will come out.

We can understand when a woman has a baby; we can understand when a bird lays and egg; but it is not easy to accept that our Earth Mother is also busy hatching an Egg. Why do we think She cannot give birth? Maybe because it is beyond our human minds to believe She is alive, as we are.

(Euroamerican) scientists call Her Egg the core of the Earth. They know it exists. They suspect it is an iron egg. They argue among themselves about the Nature of the egg. They do not know it will come out. They do not know it is this egg, growing bigger every day, which causes our Mother’s motion to slow down. They do not know it is the growing egg which causes all the weather changes we now witness…Our Mother keeps Her secrets well. Close to Purification, She asks us to release the great news of Her upcoming birthing.

Within the quote above, I included a picture from the Smithsonian which illustrates how planets form through differentiation. Differentiation is a dynamic process (quickened with heat) that will continue as long as there is planetary movement (and heat) and heavy and light materials to separate:

  • We know the Earth is not running out of heavy metals in its crust or mantle, because we continue to mine them everyday.
  • The Earth also continues to spin on its axis and rotate around the Sun.
  • And the Core continues to give off its intense heat.

This means there is no reason why differentiation would stop – heavier metals will continue to sink towards the Earth’s Core and lighter materials will continue to rise. Eventually our Core will become too large and heavy for the Earth to contain.  I say eventually but there are many signs, indications, evidence that the tipping point has been reached!

Quoting from the Preface of the 2nd edition Earth Mother Our Womb of Life :

Since the first edition was published, the world has gone through chaotic times, as forecast to occur during Purification Time. But what we have seen recently is a small sample of coming turmoil, as the time of the Fourth World grows shorter, and the Earth’s birth pains become more intense. Although there is debate over increased earthquake and volcanic activity during recent times, some data is certain. There is a clear global trend of larger magnitude earthquakes (7.0 or >) in recent decades. DL Research reports— using the U.S. Geological Service and Wikipedia as their sources— that in the period from 1997-2007 there were 99 earthquakes with a magnitude 7.0 or greater, “more than a six-fold increase over the previous eleven year period,” and a conspicuous increase over earlier decades in the 20th century. According to the U.S. Geological Service: of the largest earthquakes in the world since the year 1900, five of the top twelve, and three of the top six have occurred since 2004. [see graph above]

Beginning in the year 1900, for each 38 year period, the same sources indicate 53 magnitude 7.0 or greater earthquakes (1901- 1938), and 71 (1939-1976). Extrapolating another 38 years (1977- 2015) – 167 as of March, 2011 – we get c. 183, that’s assuming a constant rate rather than a continuing escalation, which would make the number higher. These facts affirm a growing trend of large earthquakes (independent of humankind’s technological involvement) [see table below].

Earthquake graph 3

IMG_1063The data above certainly indicates a trend towards greater earthquakes – in number and intensity, which could be caused by a growing Core.

There is also evidence that the rotations of the Core – and the Earth, are slowing down.

Evidence that the Core’s rotation is slowing down is seen in a paper by Mäkinen and Deuss, seismologists at Cambridge University, called:  “Normal mode splitting function measurements of anelasticity and attentuation in the Earth’s inner core” (see image on left) they identify that the Core’s velocity (speed) is decreasing:

“… directions of higher velocity in the inner core also appear more attenuating [slowing].”

A growing Core would slow down the rotational speed of the Earth. For example, if children are on a rotating carousel and you decide to slow it down, all you need to do is to apply your weight in the opposite direction to the carousel’s rotation and it slows down. If you continue to apply force, the motion of the carousel stops. In the same way the Core’s weight can be applied in the opposite direction of the rotating planet – to slow it down.

Is the Earth’s rotation slowing down?

The graph in the pic above is taken from the International Earth Rotation & Reference Systems Service. It shows the amount of ‘leap seconds‘ that have been added to our clocks since 1972, when the slowing of the Earth’s rotation was first identified. Leap seconds are a way of adjusting our clocks to the Earth’s slowing rotation. Notice in the bottom right of the graph that the Earth’s rotation has become even slower since 1998, increasing the amount of ‘leap seconds’ that have been added to our clocks.

The slowing of the Earth’s rotation could certainly indicate a growing Core. But is there any direct evidence – evidence from the Core itself?

Mk’s bk pg 84-85 – From Deep Underfoot - “Powerful Energy Release Emanating From The Earth’s Core Recorded” (GeoChange Journal 19 Dec 2011)

From Deep Underfoot – “Powerful Energy Release Emanating From The Earth’s Core Recorded” (GeoChange Journal 19 Dec 2011)

An article from the 11 Dec 2011 issue of the GeoChange Journal, entitled “Powerful Energy Release Emanating From The Earth’s Core Recorded” (see image above) explains that a powerful and unexplained release of energy from the Core was recorded on November 2011, in stations around the globe. Quoting from the article:

The International Geodynamic Monitoring System, a part of GNFE (London, UK) , has registered on November 15, 2011 a powerful energy release emanating from the Earth’s core. The intense three-dimensional gravitational anomaly was almost simultaneously recorded by all ATROPATENA, geophysical stations separated by vast distances from each other in the following cities: Istanbul (Turkey), Kiev (Ukraine), Baku (Azerbaijan). Islamabad (Pakistan) and Yogyakarta (Indonesia). According to GNFE President Professor Elchin Khalilov, the detailed analysis of ATROPATENA stations records indicates a powerful energy release emanating from the Earth’s core. According to the scientist, this fact may herald intensification of geodynamic processes in our planet and as a result, a higher number of strong earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis.

This is evidence directly from the Core that change is occurring deep within the heart of our planet.

Continuing to quote from Earth Mother Our Womb of Life:

This earthquake activity, as well as continuing severe weather/storms and other geo-disturbances, are to be anticipated as the Earth’s labor pains escalate, approaching the birth of Her Core. Strange behavior in the Earth’s electromagnetic field has become more noticeable in recent years. Changes to the Earth’s magnetosphere are to be expected, from adjustments of the inner Core in preparation for its birth, and as our sun, and entire solar system, progress through this Purification cycle. For humankind, the crux of these matters centers on our Mother Earth, and Her life giving Core-Heart. It is good to bear in mind that although Nature’s tribulations may be increasing — like the birth pains of a laboring mother – the end of these painful labors is something wonderful, to be welcomed not feared. Those who understand the meaning of the changes taking place, joyfully embrace them, as manifestations of the paradise our Earth is laboring to become.

Change is afoot! “The Earth is losing its magnetic field, scientists say.”
Credit: Global Post

As described in the book – the Earth’s magnetic field is undergoing change – the magnetic north is moving and the magnetosphere is decreasing in intensity. Quoting from a Global Post 2012 article entitled Earth is losing its magnetic field (see pic above):

“The magnetic field surrounding Earth is weakening and scientists say it could be gone in as little as 500 years.

“Magnetic north has migrated more than 1,500 kilometers over the past century,” he [Conall Mac Niocaill, an earth scientist at Oxford University] said. “In the past 150 years, the strength of the magnetic field has lessened by 10 percent.

And while the Earth’s magnetic field has always tended to restore itself, the European Space Agency is taking the issue seriously. It plans to launch three satellites in November to study the magnetosphere and figure out why it is weakening so significantly.”

A 2009 article from Nexus Magazine entitled “Solar Cycles and Earth’s Weakening Magnetic Field” is a wonderful indepth article about magnetism throughout the Solar System, that I highly recommend reading. And it too, talks about the recent instability in the Earth’s magnetic field. I quote:

Nexus Magazine April May 2009

Nexus Magazine April May 2009

“Strange things are happening in both outer and inner space. The Earth’s magnetic field has been weakening. This decrease actually began 2,000 years ago, but the rate of decrease suddenly became much more rapid 500 years ago. However, in the last 20 years or so, the magnetic field has become erratic.

Aeronautical maps of the world, which are used to allow aeroplanes to land using automatic pilot systems, have had to be revised globally in order for the autopilot systems to work.

Now, NASA’s five THEMIS spacecraft have discovered a breach in the Earth’s magnetic field that is 10 times larger than anything previously thought to exist.”

Before I leave this post I want to add something that is off topic, but so interesting I would love to share it. At the end of the Global Post article (mentioned earlier) there is a link to an audio file from NASA where we can hear the sound of our Earth’s magnetic field called Earth Song or ‘Chorus‘. Below is a NASA Youtube clip of Earth’s song:

In the next post I’ll discuss how the Core will be ejected through the Weddell Sea in Antarctica – the Earth’s Yoni, where the Earth is presently experiencing the highest increases in temperature .

The Core: Earth’s Sacred Heart

DivineMary

After centuries of revising canonical books, nearly every trace of Earth Mother and her Immaculate Heart have been removed from Christian literature, but to the scholarly and discerning eye the Divine Earth and her Immaculate Core/Heart are very present. Gnostic scriptures cast off the revised canon and reverted to the older texts. Accordingly, Eve-Earth Mother not only created Adam-Core Son, but Adam was the very soul within his mother. Some Gnostic texts reverse this order and say that Eve-The Virgin is the soul within Adam-The Father. Either way they understood the concept of a God within a God, that is, the Heart of the Earth within the Mother…..

Earth Mother Our Womb of Life says the Earth’s Core is the life force of the planet – that which makes our hearts beat and seeds grow.  The book stresses the importance of the Core, calling it “God within God”, “Sacred Heart”, “the Hidden God” amongst other names, but does not give a material (scientific) explanation of how this is so.

I hope the author doesn’t mind if I explain how it works. As I’ve written before, I was taught this explanation many years ago in the mid-1980s in Hong Kong. I didn’t learn it as a Hopi story – but the content of the story is the same and I don’t have a publication from the 1980s to show you. So I am supporting this wonderful book – not only does it tell the story brilliantly but it offers so much love, wisdom and support. I am deeply grateful to have found it.

But it is missing the explanation of the movement of the Earth’s Core that I was taught long ago:

Friction

Rub your hands together, do you feel them warming up? This is because of friction. Friction creates heat and energy. In the centre of the Earth an iron ball the size of the moon is spinning in the opposite direction to the mantle creating great friction at the interface.

Rotation of the Earth and Core. Image from of Earth's Core at D-disciple.com

The core rotates in the opposite direction to the mantle creating heat and energy through friction. Image from Earth’s Core at D-disciple.com

The heat created by the friction of the opposing rotations of the Core and Mantle causes rock to melt and creates magma – 1400 miles deep – surrounding the solid Core.

Friction also causes a build up of pressure which is continually released through the numerous earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that occur everyday around the globe.

IMG_0951 - Copy

The heat generated at the Core of the Earth rises through the planet and acts as an incubator for the development of life on the planet. And the rising energy provides electromagnetic stimulation causing seeds to grow and our hearts to beat.

The concept of a God within a God describes how our Earth provides the material, the body (the chemicals required in the biology of life) and our Core provides the energy to animate the biology. The actions of both together – the Earth Mother and Her Sacred Heart/Core – create and sustain life.

Below I’ve listed some of the scientific research that shows the Earth’s Core rotating in the opposite direction to the mantle.

Opposing Core Rotation = Life

IMG_0943 - Copy

First I should clarify what is meant by the ‘Core’ of the Earth. Many scientific papers differentiate between the ‘inner’ and ‘outer’ Core – this can get confusing. I take the same position as described in Earth Mother Our Womb of Life:

The magma surrounding the Core was named the ‘core’ before science became aware of the solid ball contained within the magma. Rather than renaming the magma or just calling it ‘the surrounding magma’, they named the actual solid core the ‘inner core’ and left the name ‘core’ for the thick molten metal and rock that swishes around the core. When I refer to the ‘Core’ I always mean the solid inner core.

Until 1996 scientists thought that the Earth was one entity, one unit, one ball spinning in space – but then seismologists at Columbia University, Xiaodong Song and Paul Richards, found that the Earth’s Core and mantle acted like two distinct bodies – one inside the other.

Jeffig2rThey discovered this by comparing seismic waves from different of earthquakes (between 1967 to 1995) that hit in the South Sandwich Islands (South Atlantic), then traveled through the Earth and the Core before being recorded in Alaska (see pic on left). They found that the waves traveled identical routes with identical times until they reached the Core and then the waves diverged! From this they concluded that the Core rotates 1º faster.

A fabulous article entitled: Inner Core Rotation” (2006) written by Richards (and Li) discusses the original findings and gives a synopsis of the first 10 years of Core rotation research.

From Richards: http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/~richards/my_papers/Richards%26Li_Encycl.pdf

An example of seismic wave comparison from Richards and Li (2006)

Once Song and Richards identified the Core’s ‘superroation’, many other researchers got interested, got working and surprisingly came up with different results. Wei-jia Su, Adam M. Dziewonski and Raymond Jeanloz published Planet Within a Planet: Rotation of the Inner Core of the Earth (1996) in which they investigated a larger sample of earthquakes over 29 years and found that the Core rotates 3º faster.

One year later in 1997 Kenneth Creager claimed the numbers were far too high – the Core only rotates 0.2~0.3º faster.

So why did the studies conclude different times?

In 1998 Sharrock and Woodhouse from Oxford University wanted to find out. They ran the 3 studies through their own computer program to find out what would be the best explanation and the results were surprising – the Core rotating in the opposite direction was the best explanation!

“The data do not support a positive (i.e. West-to-East rotation) [the Earth rotates west to east], rather the inferred rotational component of the time-dependent inner core structure is negative (i.e. East-to-West).”

paper by Sharrock and Woodhouse

Mk’s bk pg66-67: Sharrock and Woodhouse’s original paper: http://www.terrapub.co.jp/journals/EPS/pdf/5011_12/50111013.pdf

Sharrock and Woodhouse identify westward core rotation, but then dismiss it as “not well explained.”
Perhaps they mean not expected!

Sharrock and Woodhouse were the first to identify opposing (westward) Core rotation – but not the last. In a 1999 article in Nature magazine Gabi Laske & Guy Masters noted the same phenomenon. Quoting from the figure below (taken from their article):

“Provided that our mantle correction is accurate, this comparison implies a westward inner-core rotation of 0.3º per year.”

That is the same degree of rotation that Creager identified in his paper, but this time the Core is found to be rotating westward! (see figure below)

Studies on Core rotation show both east and west movement – sometimes in the same study! In a 2012 titled: The Shuffling Rotation of the Earth’s Inner Core Revealed by Earthquake Doublets by Hrvoje Tkalčić, Mallory Young, Thomas Bodin, Silvie Ngo & Malcolm Sambridge,  24 earthquakes doublets were compared (once again recorded in Alaska), but this time superrotation was found in both directions – the blue indicates eastward (called prograde) and the red indicates westward (called retrograde) rotation (as seen in the graph below):

Blue areas indicate eastward rotation whereas red areas indicate westward rotation, from: “The Shuffling Rotation of the Earth’s Inner Core Revealed by Earthquake Doublets” (2012)

The researchers averaged out the times and settled on eastward rotation at “an average differential rotation rate of 0.25–0.48° yr−1″. But their decision overlooks the fact that they found the Core rotating in both directions!

In my research I found scientific studies that indicate both east and westward rotation of the Core – and the speed of rotation differs as well from study to study. The evidence for opposing rotation exists and compels scientific consideration. Especially because of its implications! At the moment, scientists view the Core as a dead weight in an ocean of magma – any movement of the Core is caused by movement in the magma (physical and/or magnetic). However, if the Core is spinning in the opposite direction – then it becomes an engine, a generator of heat, electricity and magnetism and (importantly) in a consistent and constant manner – exactly what is required for life.

The explanation I was taught long ago and the book, Earth Mother Our Womb of Life, say the Earth is a living being – our mother in the fullest sense of the word, and Her Core, Her Sacred Heart is the life force of the Earth: that which makes our hearts beat and seeds grow.

Amen-Ra, Egyptian God

Egyptian God, Amon-Ra- the Hidden One

Quoting from Earth Mother Our Womb of Life:

There is one “Hidden One” and He goes by many names. We invoke Him by his Egyptian name when we pray. We do this because Moses, when he taught us how to worship in the desert, addressed God by the name he knew – Amon, the Hidden One, hidden in the womb of our Mother Earth. With a little research the most devout Christian and Jew will discover that the name they invoke to this day at the end of their prayers is that of Amen-Amon, the Hidden God of the Egyptians, the Hidden God of the Christians, the Sacred Core-Heart of our Mother Earth.

The center of the Earth is the cave wherein dwells (the masculine) God, who is the Core-Heart of our Mother Earth (feminine). With this understanding, when we start a prayer we can do so with knowledge that whether we say God, Jehovah, Shiva, Allah, or Amen our prayers are received by our Father who is the Heart of our Earth Mother.
